Susan Hibbs, CFNP, CDE



 

Susan Hibbs is a Family and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She is also a certified Diabetes Educator. She has served the Native American Community in the Phillips neighborhood since 1985, first at the Indian Health Board and since 2003 at NACC as one of the founding medical providers.

She teaches diabetes care at the diabetes breakfasts and dinners and is a key member of the Full Circle Diabetes Program team. She has a particular interest in teen and child healthcare. Other interests include working with Habitat for Humanity building homes in the Minneapolis area for the last several years.

She received her nursing degree from St. Olaf in 1982. She has her masters degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania She is a clinical preceptor/adjunct faculty member of the University Of MN School Of Nursing.
