Dr. Lori Banaszak




Dr. Banaszak is a Family Practice physician. She provides care for adults and children, including prenatal care. She is an enrolled member of the Bois Forte Band of Ojibwe. Dr. Banaszak has been serving the Native American Community in the Phillips neighborhood since 1999. She worked at Indian Health Board until 2002, when she became one of the founding members of NACC.

She attended the University of Minnesota, Duluth and then received her MD degree from the University of Minnesota. She completed her residency in Family Practice at the Santa Monica Medical Center in California.

Dr. Banaszak is Board certified in Family Practice and is a member of the Association of American Indian Physicians and the Metropolitan Urban Indian Directors Group. In addition she serves on the Board of the Minneapolis American Indian Center. She was the Twin Cities Healthy Start Family Physician of the year in 2005.
